Monthly

One email. Every month.

I send one long-form email on the first Tuesday of each month. It covers a single legal question — usually one I have been asked three times that month by three unrelated people — and I write it the way I would answer a friend.

What is in it

Each edition covers one topic in roughly 1,500 words, with statutes cited, a decision framework, and a short "what to do this week" section. I pick the topic based on what has come up in client consultations, press enquiries, and reader emails. Past subjects include the post-TCJA alimony arithmetic, the SECURE Act 2.0 impact on inherited IRAs, and the practical difference between a notaire's seal and a handwritten will.

What is not in it

No sponsor placements. No affiliate products. No "as seen in" logos. I do not accept paid mentions in the newsletter, and I have declined every offer to date. The newsletter exists because I enjoy writing it, and the guide-reading on the site is enough to sustain the editorial.

How to unsubscribe

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe at the foot. I do not ask why. The list is used only for this newsletter — not for remarketing, lookalike audiences, or any kind of commercial outreach.
